The firm, through the use of financial instruments permitted under Italian law and other EU legal systems, particularly spe-cialises in the legal issues posed by the generational succession in companies and the necessary protection of family wealth. Consequently it advises on cross-border personal and family matters (movement of persons and citizenship, establishment and dissolution of family ties in Italy and abroad and circula-tion of judicial decisions, matrimonial regimes and prenuptial agreements).

BM&A prepares drafts family succession agreements, estab-lishes foundations under other EU legal systems for wealth management and family wealth planning matters and, with the collaboration of the firm’s other departments, negotiates and implements the sale of companies or shareholdings held by family members or individual entrepreneurs.
